Find answers to common questions about our Joint Degree Programs and dual diplomas
Joint Education Programs (JEP) offers Joint Degree Programs that allow Uzbek students to earn two internationally recognized diplomas - one from Uzbekistan and one from a partner university abroad. We partner with universities in Russia (Moscow State Linguistic University), Belarus (Minsk State Linguistic University), and China (Dalian Polytechnic University), with European and Asian partners coming soon. Our programs use 2+2, 3+1, and 1+1 formats where students study both domestically and at partner universities.
A Joint Degree Program lets you study at two universities and earn two diplomas. With formats like 2+2 (2 years in Uzbekistan, 2 years abroad), 3+1, or 1+1 (for Master's), you receive academic credentials from both institutions. Our programs focus on linguistics and languages, including English Philology, Chinese Language, and Translation Studies. This dual qualification makes graduates highly competitive in the international job market.
The Foundation Year is our preparatory pathway for students who need to strengthen their English language skills or academic foundation before entering Joint Degree Programs. It's ideal for students who: (1) Have lower English proficiency but want to enter our programs. (2) Need time to adapt to international academic standards. (3) Want a smoother transition into university-level studies. After completing the Foundation Year, students progress into our Joint Degree Programs with partner universities.
Yes, upon successful completion of a Joint Degree Program, you receive two official diplomas: one from the Uzbekistan partner institution and one from the international partner university. Both diplomas are fully recognized and valid. This dual qualification significantly enhances your career prospects, as employers value candidates with international experience and credentials from multiple countries.
Our current partner universities include: Russia - Moscow State Linguistic University (3+1 Philology & Language Teaching in English). Belarus - Minsk State Linguistic University (2+2 Translation Theory & Practice, 1+1 Master's in Comparative Linguistics). China - Dalian Polytechnic University (2+2 Philology & Language Teaching in Chinese). We are actively expanding to include universities in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
General requirements include: (1) Completion of 11 years of secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent). (2) Minimum age of 17 at program start. (3) Academic grades of at least 60% (varies by program and university). (4) English language proficiency: IELTS 4.5-5.5 or equivalent (some programs offer English preparation). Specific requirements vary by university and subject area. During your free consultation, we'll assess your profile and recommend suitable programs.
While IELTS is preferred, it's not always mandatory at the application stage. Many Foundation Year programs accept: (1) Internal English tests conducted by the institution. (2) Other English qualifications like TOEFL, PTE, or Cambridge certificates. (3) Pre-sessional English courses before the main program. If your English is below requirements, we can arrange additional English preparation. We recommend IELTS 5.0-5.5 for the best program options, but we have pathways for students starting from IELTS 4.0.

Extended programs of 15-18 months are available for students needing additional English preparation. In the UK, international students pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) as part of their visa application (approximately $470/year).
